Maria Gillan read her poetry this month at a special event in Military Park in Newark showcasing a few of the Dodge Festival poets who will be at the 2018 Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival.
Maria will be reading again at the largest poetry event in North America when it returns to Newark in October.
The Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival returns Thursday October 18th through Sunday October 21, 2018 and for those four days Newark’s downtown Arts District will be a poetry village featuring some of our most celebrated, diverse and vibrant poets and spoken word artists.
Maria Mazziotti Gillan will be one of the featured poets this year, and as part of their Ask a Poet series leading up to the Poetry Festival, they spoke with Maria.
Meet Maria and hear her poetry LIVE, along with many other poets at the festival.
