PCCC Art Galleries Present 'Women Dreaming of Doors: Paintings and Prints by Linda Hillringhouse'

On Saturday, February 2nd from 11:30am to 1pm, the PCCC Art Galleries will present an art reception for the exhibit, "Women Dreaming of Doors: Paintings and Prints by Linda Hillringhouse."

Linda Hillringhouse is a poet, teacher and self-taught painter who has shown her work at the Newark Museum; Paterson Museum; Ben Shahn Center for Visual Arts, William Paterson University; Weinstein Gallery, Fairleigh Dickinson University; Belskie Museum; Intermezzo Gallery at the Bergen Performing Arts Center; Yale School of Art, among other venues. Her work is included in the permanent Hamilton Club Art Collection, Paterson, NJ. She was selected for inclusion in the 20th Century Self-Taught Artists Archive Collection at The Museum of American Folk Art, NY, NY. Linda will conduct a painting workshop at the Hamilton Club in March 2019.

The same day beginning at 1:00 p.m., the winners of the 2018 Allen Ginsberg Poetry Awards will read their poems in the same venue.

The art reception and poetry reading will take place at the Hamilton Club Building, 2nd floor, 32 Church Street, Paterson.  The building is wheelchair accessible, and other services, including large print materials and FM assistive listening devices, are available on request (call 973-684-5444).  Parking is at the PCCC parking lot on College Blvd., between Memorial Dr. and Church St.
