The Saturday, March 14th art reception for the exhibit, Gestures in Geometry: Mostly Drawings by Mary Dajnak and the poetry reading as part of The Distinguished Poets Series of the Poetry Center with sam sax and Dante Di Stefano have been canceled due to the coronavirus situation and as per CDC recommendations to limit large audience gathering.
Mary Dajnak is a multimedia artist combining drawing and printmaking techniques in abstract works. She is a recipient of many grants, including a Fulbright Grant to the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland, and an individual artist grant from the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts, and is a graduate of Temple University’s Tyler School of Art with a BFA in Printmaking, and the University of Pennsylvania with an MFA in Printmaking and Painting. Mary is currently an Instructor and the Coordinator of the
Studio Arts programs at PCCC.
The Hamilton Club Building is wheelchair accessible; large print materials and FM assistive listening devices available on request. The Poetry Center at PCCC is funded, in part, by a grant from the NJ State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
