Keeping in touch with her global audience of readers, Maria Mazziotti Gillan has been doing virtual readings, workshops, and conversations during this difficult pandemic year.
On December 9th, she participated in a 90-minute session with graduate students at the University of Calabria. The students are studying American literature and the Italian diaspora. Maria read a few of her poems and responded to questions from students about her poetry that they have been reading and about her connections to Italy and Italian-American culture in the United States.
