The Poetry Center at PCCC has organized a poetry reading to honor the late Laura Boss as a part of their Distinguished Poets Series. Friends of Laura will be reading poems from her posthumous collection. Family Promises was published by NYQ Books in May 2021.
Laura died of pancreatic cancer on April 9. A beloved friend of the Poetry Center, she was an award-winning poet, founder, and editor of Lips magazine, the recipient of three NJSCA poetry fellowships, author of seven books, and poet-in-residence in the Paterson Public Schools for the Center's Theater and Poetry Program.

The virtual reading will be on Tuesday, July 27th, 2021 at 7 PM via Zoom. As with all readings in the series, this event is free and open to all. Please help us honor Laura Boss' poetry legacy and keep her work alive.
