From the Desk of Maria Gillan

Maria Mazziotti Gillan has started a new occasional blog as part of the Poetry Center at PCCC website. She will write essays about poetry and about programs and events at the Center.

In her first posts, she has written about conducting workshops virtually for mature writers and how it has reinvigorated her love of poetry.

Maria Mazziotti Gillan's new poetry collection is When the Stars Were Still Visible (2021). Other recent publications are the poetry and photography collection, Paterson Light and Shadow and the poetry collections What Blooms in Winter and The Girls in the Chartreuse Jackets which pairs her poems with her paintings.
