There will be a poetry reading by Joe Weil as part of the Distinguished Poets Series of the Poetry Center at PCCC on Saturday, February 19, 2022.

Joe Weil grew up in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and most of his early poetry covers his experiences as a citizen of that city. His work has appeared in Rattle, The Boston Review, The New York Times, Paterson Literary Review, and many other magazines, and anthologies. He has read on NPR, Pacifica Radio, and as a poet featured on NJ-PBS. Weil also plays piano and composes music. He is currently an associate professor at SUNY-Binghamton University. His latest book is The Backwards Year, published by NYQ Books in 2020.
