This month, the Beach Bards Poetry & Prose Reading Series will feature Maria Mazziotti Gillan on Monday, July 20, 2015. The reading will be at 6 p.m. at the Sea Isle City Library, 4800 Central Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243.
The Beach Bards Poetry Reading Series will present Poetry & Prose program on the third Monday of each month from June through September. Poets will perform readings from their original works. Maria Mazziotti Gillan, is a distinguished poet with national reputation. She has received an American Book Award, the Barnes & Noble Writers for Writers Award from Poets and Writers, and the Literature Ward from the Associated Writing Programs. She is the author of 20 published books of poetry and anthologies and is a force in the poetry world today, reading not only nationally, but internationally.
