On Tuesday, September 24, a reading by poet Maria Mazziotti Gillan and translator Carla Francellini will be presented as an Italian Scholarship Event at 6 pm EDT in the Theatre-in-the-Round at the University Center, Seton Hall University, 400 South Orange Avenue, South Orange, NJ. The event is free and open to the public.
This event is sponsored by the Charles and Joan Alberto Italian Studies Institute at Seton Hall University. Established in 2003, they coordinate the University's activities relating to Italian American history and culture, sponsor cultural events, and promote curriculum development and community outreach.

Maria Mazziotti Gillan's most recent books are the poetry and photography collection, Paterson Light and Shadow and the poetry collection, What Blooms in Winter.
