Il 23 maggio il Centro Studi Americani ha ospitato, presso l'Auditorium dell'Istituto Centrale per i beni sonori ed audiovisivi in Via Michelangelo Caetani 32, l'incontro "Maria Mazziotti Gillan: tra America e Italia", organizzato dall'Università degli Studi di Roma "Tor Vergata". Hanno dialogato con l'autrice le professoresse Elisabetta Marino (Università degli Studi di Roma "Tor Vergata") e Carla Francellini (Università degli Studi di Siena).
On 23 May 2023, the Centro Studi Americani hosted the meeting "Maria Mazziotti Gillan: Between America and Italy", organized by the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", in the Auditorium of the Central Institute for Sound and Audiovisual Heritage in Via Michelangelo Caetani 32. The professors Elisabetta Marino (University of Rome "Tor Vergata") and Carla Francellini (University of Siena) spoke with the author.
Maria Mazziotti Gillan's newest poetry collection is When the Stars Were Still Visible (2021). Other recent publications are the poetry and photography collection, Paterson Light and Shadow, and the poetry collections What Blooms in Winter and The Girls in the Chartreuse Jackets, a pairing of her poems with her paintings.
